Call (253) 271-9746A drip almost always means a worn internal part: a cartridge, washer, or O-ring that no longer seals. It's usually a quick repair, and worth doing: a steady drip can waste a surprising amount of water over a year.
Running, weak flushing, or a loose handle are usually simple repairs. Cracks in the bowl or tank, leaks at the base that keep returning, or a toilet that clogs constantly despite drain cleaning are signs replacement makes more sense. Newer toilets also use far less water per flush.
Humming means the motor has power but the flywheel is jammed. Turn the power off first, and never put your hand inside. Many disposals have a hex socket on the bottom that lets you free the jam with an Allen wrench. If it still won't spin or trips the reset button repeatedly, it may need service or replacement.
If only the shower is affected, the showerhead is likely clogged with mineral buildup. Removing it and soaking it in vinegar often helps. If pressure is low everywhere, the cause could be a failing pressure-reducing valve, corroding pipes, or a hidden leak, and it's worth having a plumber take a look.
Almost always a failed wax ring, the seal between the toilet and the drain flange. Stop using the toilet until it's resealed, because water leaking under the fixture can rot the subfloor. The fix involves removing the toilet, replacing the ring, and resetting it properly.
